Every file below has its SHA-256 next to it so you can check what you downloaded. Looking for an SDK? They have their own page: SDK downloads (14 packages: conformance, dotnet, engine, go, java, mcp, php, python, review-core, review-ui, ruby, rust, typescript, veil-tokens).
Recommended: install from the Chrome Web Store โ one click, and Chrome keeps it up to date. It also installs in Edge (allow extensions from other stores) and Brave. Or use the zip: unzip, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, then choose Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder (the one that contains manifest.json). Then open the extension, choose Paste API key, and paste a key from the API keys page (sign up free first if you have no account). The two files below are the same build โ identical SHA-256 โ one with the version in the filename, one without. A zip install does not update itself; download the new zip when a version ships.
Firefox: There is no CloakAPI extension for Firefox. That build was withdrawn; download URLs answer HTTP 410. It was never listed on addons.mozilla.org. Use Chrome, Edge, or Brave above, or the desktop app.
Windows: most people want …-setup.exe — run it and follow the installer. The .msi is the same app for managed/IT installs. cloakapi-desktop-…-x86_64.exe is the app on its own with no installer (no Start-menu entry, no uninstaller). These builds are not code-signed, so Windows may show Windows protected your PC on first run: check the SHA-256 below first, then choose More info → Run anyway.
No macOS build is published in the release register.
