These terms govern first-party end-user applications published by CloakAPI under their own names. They are not the CloakAPI developer-platform terms. Prices are those already published on each application’s pricing page.
CloakAPI operates a developer platform (API, SDKs, MCP, local proxy, desktop, browser extension, and the chat/portal at app.cloakapi.io). That platform is governed by the Terms of Service, the Data Processing Addendum, and the Service Level Agreement. Fees for the platform are the markup rates at cloakapi.io/pricing.
This document governs the following first-party end-user applications (together, the “Applications”). Each Application is a separate product with its own price:
Prices differ between Applications. Some Applications cost more than others. There is no single “suite price” that replaces those pages. Cloaking performed on the user’s device is free of charge on the Applications; amounts charged for subscriptions or for AI-assisted features are those stated on the relevant /pricing page at the time of purchase.
If you create an account on an Application, you are a customer of that Application. You do not receive CloakAPI API keys, and you do not fund a CloakAPI prepaid markup balance, unless you separately open a developer account on the platform.
When CloakAPI operates an Application, it does so in two capacities: as the Application provider to you, and as the platform operator that relays tokenised requests. Relay through the platform is processed under the platform DPA. You are not the platform Controller by reason only of using an Application.
Each Application is built to tokenise personal data on your device before any relay. The Application provider does not offer the Application as a free relay of untokenised content. Signed receipts, where issued, describe the relay that occurred. Fail-closed behaviour on the platform is described in the platform terms; it is not a service-credit regime for the Application.
Account, billing, and support data for the Application are processed to provide that Application. We do not use Application content to train foundation models.
The price book for each Application is the page linked in section 1. We do not restate those figures here so that a later price change cannot leave this document silently wrong. A change to an Application’s price is effective as stated on that Application’s pricing page.
Platform markup (15 % / 5 % / 5 %) applies only to CloakAPI developer-platform usage, including chat and portal on app.cloakapi.io. It is not the price of cloak-cv, cloak-write, cloakup, or any other Application.
Acceptable use, confidentiality of your content, limitation of liability, and governing law follow the platform Terms of Service sections 2, 6, 8 and 11, applied as if references to “the Service” were references to the Application you are using, except that the platform SLA does not apply and the fee schedule in those Terms does not apply.
